The rooms were great. The location in relation to the park was excellent. All the staff was very friendly. Enjoyed sitting on the big deck. Laundry facility was clean and nice. Everything we needed was available.
Some times because of the large number of people coming and going at all hours there was a lot of noise. I am not sure what you could do to help this since it is the nature of guests.

Our room was large, clean and comfortable and I loved the view of the river.
The remote setting was lovely, but unless you had a car, the free shuttle was not always convenient.

The hotel's location was convenient to Denali National Park, allowing easy access without the crowds. The river running behind the lodge added a peaceful ambiance. Parking was available, and the hotel facilities were clean.
Hard to think of anything negative.

Great location, firepit was nice, staff friendly and it was very convenient to have a sack lunch and to go breakfast if needed.

Check in was quick. They had my folder all ready for me. My room was in a building that seemed new with very wide, open, brightly-lit hallways. The heat worked well, the room had a balcony. There were board games in a lounge area on the second floor and comfy couches on the first floor looking out on to the river. I had requested a rollerboard bed and it was delivered as promised. The location is only 6 miles south of Park entrance. I had my own car but for those that don't there is a free shuttle to the Park entrance and the various restaurants and shops just north of the Park entrance.
I didn't see a refrigerator in the room. Also no microwave. These are very minor criticisms.

The resort is perfectly situated on the banks of a scenic river, just a stone's throw away from the breathtaking Denali National Park. The location offers a tranquil setting away from the hustle and bustle of crowded tourist areas. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a pleasant retreat after a long day of exploring the park. The staff is friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any questions or concerns. The resort also offers a variety of amenities, including a gift shop and outdoor music performances.
The lack of parking near the rooms can be inconvenient for guests with disabilities.

The room was clean Staff were friendly and helpful Good dining options and gift shop Nice lobby for relaxing We had a nice view to the river and mountains across the carpark Block-out curtains in the room - a must in Alaskan summers!!
No elevators so had to haul luggage upstairs which is difficult for anyone with disability or injury, no offer to help with it Bathroom light in the room is also exhaust fan which is very noisy in middle of the night Tiny vanity basin in the room, not big enough for two people to use or to place bathroom items Toilet did not work properly but they fixed it without delay None of the above seriously impacted our stay which overall was very pleasant

It was a very nice setting. Rooms and bath were clean. Staff helpful and we liked having the dining room and wonderful lounge nearby. We were traveling by car but it was nice not to have to travel elsewhere to eat.
We asked to be on a lwere level after we got there and were obliged but when we got to the room with our luggage we found it had not been cleaned. We were given another room immediately with an offer of help for our luggage.

The buffet breakfast had a great variety of options, including fresh fruit and made-to-order omelettes. The rooms were clean and well-equipped with nice amenities. The location was convenient for exploring the nearby park.
The noise insulation in the rooms was poor, resulting in a lot of external noise, especially if you were on the lower floor. The TV channels were also limited, which may be disappointing if you enjoy watching TV during your stay.

Main lodge design and decoration
They insist on using Booked.net for their reservations and then don't offer all the room options that are available at the lodge. When arriving I saw my level of room choice with a balcony and when asked why I didn't get one of those for the price I paid, she said it was because I didn't ask. If you don't know that's an option for your price point, how would you know to ask? Also, their food/beverage prices were out of line even compared to the rest of Alaska. Also, Booked.net states on their reservation confirmation that no charges will occur until the hotel stay, but they took the money out of my account immediately. When I questioned it with 3 different agents I spoke with, they all insisted there was no charge made to my card because they couldn't find it in their system and that they DIDN'T charge until the hotel stay.....well, yes....they.....do..... When I suggested they get together with Booked.net to inform them to stop saying the charge won't occur until the stay, I was blown off, so the practice continues.

The value for the money was great and the room had a cozy log cabin feel. The location was beautiful, with a balcony facing a river and wooded area. The staff were polite and helpful.
The morning meal could use improvement, maybe adding more variety.

Like new. Clean. Comfortable. Some difficulty with parking, but no big deal. Prices seem unduly high to me for hotels in Alaska.
